Speakers

Jens Heitland-CEO Heitland Media Group

Jens Heitland’s journey began with a defining moment in 2004 when he faced redundancy from his first job. Instead of succumbing to disappointment, he used the setback as a catalyst for transformation. Immersing himself in self-development, leadership, and human behavior, he pursued further education in electrical engineering and property management while balancing work and studies. His corporate ascent deepened his understanding of leadership, revealing how empowerment fuels innovation. This realization shaped his personal mantra: empower to be empowered. His passion for pushing boundaries extended beyond the boardroom, as he tested his limits through IRONMAN triathlons and marathons.

In 2019, a train ride and a moment of clarity led Heitland to leave IKEA Centres and redefine his mission—fostering human innovation. He founded HEITLAND Innovation, a consultancy focused on leadership-driven innovation, and co-founded XYZ-Playground and WeAreSucceed. His ventures, including AI-Fortuna and Heitland Media Group, aim to revolutionize leadership, mentorship, and applied innovation.

A sought-after speaker and mentor, Heitland has shared his insights on global stages, from Tokyo to London and Moscow to Cape Town. His contributions extend to academic institutions and mentorship programs, where he nurtures future leaders. Through podcasts and personal branding initiatives, he continues to inspire others to take charge of their stories. For Heitland, leadership is not about climbing ladders—it’s about building them.
